First time owning a pair of exotic boots, I bought conditioner and a cloth to maintain the skin. Anything else I should be aware or keep note of to keep them in good shape?
I know tungsten electrodes are radioactive. Yesterday I was tig welding and me being utterly stupid, after I finished what i was doing, I pushed the electrode further down into the cup for an adjustment and forgot it’s hot as fuck. I only very slightly pricked myself on the finger and it didn’t bleed but i want to be 100% certain I didn’t just give myself some small form of radioactivity. Again, I know this probably sounds stupid as hell to seasoned welders, but I’ve only been doing this for a year or so. It’s been about a day and it still hurts pretty bad. I’m okay right? No geiger counter for life?
