Do we have any existing sources on their smithing techniques? Was the head of the guisarme a solid piece construction or were some of the spikes forge welded? Was it socketed or affixed to the wooden haft by langets? I’m a blacksmith attempting to recreate a 16th century Italian guisarme and I’m looking for as many technical details as I can get
