How to get over RJ?
Helly guys, I know this has probably been discussed before thousands of times but how do I get rid of this disease called Retroactive Jealousy? A bit of context but I dont want to share much: i am 23 my GF is 27. The age gap already says that she has had a history, specially with issues when she was young but I love this girl and she has changed so so much and shes basically a entirely different person now and i LOVE her for that. The long past used to bother me but I have learned about RJ (I didnt know what it was at all before I dated her since she was my first) and I have been doing pretty great. Specially as time moves on and we pass a 1 year mark. 1 year ago to me is so far and it actually helps me move on.
Now to get a bit serious I started working the same job as her, we work at different departments and have been doing so for the last 6 months. Working with her has been amazing she is my best friend and we go to lunch together and enjoy each other's time even more but the hard part that I cant get over is that she has had a pass... multiple hookups... a coworker of mine is one of her hookups and I basically have to be forced to see him every work day. It makes it so fucking impossible to move on when I see the man that has been playing behind her back and cheating on his wife with her for 6 months. Dont worry the guy is a idiot and he slipped up and my girlfriend called it off as soon as she found out. But I hate the man so much, the man has had her for 6 months and played with her feelings for 6 months and Im sad that i wasn't there sooner. I have to give it to her she is so mature and seeing him doesnt bother her anymore, she has moved on but I cant. I found out before I started working there and I just love her even more she is so open with me but I never thought I'd see the person thats been with her intimately. This relationship thing is hard I dont know how people do it and can live normal lives...
