Notifications clipped / not playing full sound - windows 11
I have an issue where notifications audio is clipped at the beginning. It will only play a tiny bit of the end of the notification sound.
Example: instead of "bleep bloop", I just get an "op".
Things i've tried:
- Using top "aux" slots instead of rear slots
- DAC USB sound card instead of aux slots
- Turning off sound enhancements
- Changing driver to generic Microsoft one instead of Realtek
- Updating drivers
- Playing a silent video on youtube constantly
- Turning off "allow exclusive mode"
- Ensuring no focus is on
- Had a little yell into a cushion out of frustration
- Swore at PC several times
None of the above seemed to work. Once one notification has pinged, or any sound is playing, it seems to work normally.
Would anyone have any tips / advice? Thank you!
