Hello there

I have my H1 visa renewal coming up in July and my passport is going to expire in Nov 2027. I am also planning to travel to India in Oct and come back.
Based on some online reviews I came to know that I94 validity upon entering can get limited to the expiry date of the passport. Because of this reason I am thinking of getting my passport renewed in the US itself by changing my address on it.
Has anyone renewed the Indian passport in the US before the one year expiry period. It would be great if you can share your opinion on my decision and also the time it takes to get the passport renewed here.
Can the passport renewal while being the US cause any issue to the upcoming H1 extension?
