Hi , Female ORM (20 yrs) , Graduating with Psychology major in May 2026 with all the required science courses taken, NJ Resident

Past MCAT was on September 2025 with score 498 . Retake MCAT on 4/25 , waiting for score but expecting atleast 505 (my least FL score was 506 on FL6, 510 on FL5, 515 on FL4 ) 3.7 GPA overall gpa with 3.6 science GPA ,

EMT Certified

Resume has Community service hrs, shadowing, research experience at Kessler Rehab (with 1 poster presentation at 1 Symposiums) Research experience at Rutgers (with 1poster presentation at 1 Symposium) , clinical experience at Psychiatry ER dept at RWJ hospital and Childrens hospital, Have strong LORs, Presently working on SOP while waiting for the score to release

I am planning to and open to apply to DO and MD as I want to match into Psychiatry and I am leaning towards DO more , I am applying to ALL Nj schools but they are highly and terribly competitive . My first preference is to stay close to NJ or East Coast but open to other states

Can someone help me build some school list? to start with . I would highly appreciate it

I took my MCAT on April 25th and waiting for my score to come back. i will be graduating this year in May. I am not sure where to start for. Can anyone guide me ? Should i start drafting my Statement of Purpose while waiting for my score . How to come up with a school list once u get the score. Whats the criteria . I am open to DO and MD schools. NJ Resident so that will be my first choice of school but since they are competitive i have to go out of state and pick other schools ? If any one can guide me i would appreciate it or point to earlier posts , i can take them as guidance as well
