Hey everyone

I'm a Pakistani medical student in 4th year preparing for US residency and I'm looking for 3-4 highly committed research partners who are equally serious about building a strong Hematology-Oncology research portfolio.

My plan is to work on 4-5 quality projects (systematic reviews, meta-analyses, original research ideas, etc.) with proper depth—not rushed or low-quality publications. I'm willing to invest the time needed to do good work.

What I’m looking for:

  • People preparing for USMLE (preferably given Step 1 or Step 2)
  • Those who have ample time to dedicate and are not juggling 15-20 other projects
  • Individuals who value quality over speed and are ready to consistently work on projects
  • Preferably have institutional access to journals/articles
  • Reliable, responsive, and professional

I will cover:

  • All APC (publication) fees
  • Conference submission and registration fees
  • Mentors and reviewers

If you're interested, please DM me with the following:

  • Your current status (which steps you’ve taken / are preparing for)
  • Any prior research experience
  • Your medical college
  • LinkedIn profile link

We’ll have regular communication and clear roles. This is going to be a proper long-term team, not a casual “one pub and done” thing.

Serious and committed people only. Looking forward to hearing from you!

I'm a 22-year-old medical student from Islamabad with a growing passion for the intersection of medicine and technology. I have basic knowledge of startups, some experience with coding (Python mostly), and a little background in programming. I want to properly get started in MedTech/HealthTech, whether that's building tools, joining early-stage startups, contributing to open-source health projects, or eventually starting something myself.

Right now I'm still in med school, so I have limited time, but I want to start learning and building in a smart way alongside my studies.

I'm looking for:

  • Best online resources/courses (free or paid) to learn MedTech-specific skills
  • Recommended books, newsletters, podcasts, or YouTube channels
  • Good platforms/communities for medical students interested in health tech
  • Open-source MedTech or digital health projects that are beginner-friendly
  • Advice on how to find mentors in this space (LinkedIn? Twitter/X? Discord? specific programs?)
  • Any fellow med students or young doctors who made the jump into MedTech. how did you start?

Would especially love to connect with people who have a similar background (clinical + some coding/startup interest) and are further along the path.

Any guidance, resources, or even just a quick “start here” would mean a lot. Thanks in advance.
