I just joined a beginner hockey league that starts in August. I’m a 23 year old guy who’s only skated recreationally for 3 years and has limited stick and puck experience. This league is meant for novice players and the only skating requirements are that I can stop and skate forward which I most definitely can do, but I’m still nervous I’ll struggle to pick up the basics in hockey and stick & puck handling. I’m still exited to start, but extremely nervous at the same time. Any beginner adults out there?
