New Watch Alert — First Look at Amaros “La Seconde”
Hello Watchfam, 😄
After the release of our first model a year ago, we’re genuinely thrilled to finally share the first iteration of our upcoming model, “La Seconde.” This is a big step for us!
Here is a glimpse of the "Bleu Ardoise" color and "Gris Acier" variant.
With this model, we really wanted to assert our identity while pushing things further, especially by integrating the feedback many of you shared after our first release.
As you’ll see, we’ve gone for an integrated steel bracelet, with a refined version of the Amaros signature pattern which has been reworked to better match this design. We’ve kept the butterfly clasp, but improved comfort with micro-adjustments on both connecting links.
We’ve also made the quick-release system much easier to use: a single push-button on the back lets you swap between the steel bracelet and the integrated leather option in seconds (renders in progess)
The skeleton hands are back, but with a twist. This time, we’ve added lume, as many of you requested!
The dial will feature a hammered texture. It’s still hard to fully capture in renders, but we think it adds a lot of character. We can’t wait to show you real-life prototypes. 😉
Inside, we’re using the well-known Hangzhou 5000A a micro-rotor caliber. It allows us to keep the watch slim, integrate a small seconds display, and maintain a clean case profile, offering a reliable and nicely finished movement.
We’re also working on other color variations, which we’ll be revealing soon. 😄
Here are the dimensions of "La Seconde"
- 38mm diameter
- 45mm lug-to-lug
- 8.95mm case thickness
- 5 ATM
We’d genuinely love to hear your honest feedback. Your input directly shapes what this watch will become.
- What do you think of this first iteration?
- Does the integrated bracelet work for you?
- Thoughts on the proportions, the dial texture, the movement choice?
And if you know other watch enthusiasts who might have strong opinions on this, feel free to share this post in your favorite groups. We’d love to get as many perspectives as possible 🙏
