I’m planning to install some E-track on my utility trailer tomorrow to get more versatile tie-down points. I haul a wide variety of items—everything from zero-turn mowers and power equipment to heavy furniture.
I’ve used a red marker in the attached photos to mock up two different ways I could mount, but I’d love to hear from anyone who has used both.

Which orientation do you think provides the most versatility for a mix of equipment and furniture? Any tips on bolt placement or hitting the cross-members on this specific trailer type?
