Gloves reccomendations

Soon to head out on this year's long distance hiking/camping trip. The weather hasn't been too favourable lately and I hate packing up a wet tent in the cold. I've managed it when you know you're going to warm up/get dry quickly once the sun is properly up, but I don't trust that will happen this time.

Looking for a pair of lightweight waterproof/ water resistant gloves to keep my hands warm and dry to pack the tent and to pop on during cold/windy/wet spells with the poles.

I only have a week or so before I head off, so ideally I need something quick to arrive. Had a look on Amazon, and they seem really thick, more like ski gloves. Have time to get to decathlon etc before I go if they have any.

Recommendations greatly appreciated!

Hello!

It's almost time to get out with my tent and go on a really long walk again. I have just over 2 weeks to play with and I can't make up my mind so I was hoping to get some advice/recommendations.

Walks I've done:

West Highland Way x2

Cumbria Way x2

South Downs Way

Coast to Coast

Many South West Coast Path sections

Portuguese Camino de Santiago

I'd ideally like a walk no longer than 14 days to allow for travel days there/back. I don't mind wild camping but I prefer small farm campsites where I can. Happy to stay at the odd YHA if needed. Prefer a walk where I have a good chance of meeting other people, especially campers. I have met some of the best people on my trips and I feel I'd get a bit lonely if the walk was really quiet and I was truly alone for 2 weeks!

I'm in one mind to do the C2C again, it was one of the greatest experiences. An incredible walk and a lovely community feel amongst fellow walkers. Another thought is to combine WHW with East Highland Way, but I've done the WHW twice and find it can get too busy. I've been looking into the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, so if anyone has any advice about that, especially in terms of camping, let me know!

Happy to hear other suggestions. Probably starting some time around 24th May

Spotted some winnie the pooh lights and bought them for my Winnie the pooh obsessed mum who loves fairy lights. She just moved house, thought it would be a cute gift.

They arrived in loose plastic see through bag. Even the shop guy laughed how bad it was. Loads broken, plug snapped.

Seller said all was fine when they posted, I had to point out maybe that is the case, but you posted them in a loose bag with like two bits of sellotape!! After a bit of back and forth they reluctantly agreed a full refund. So I guess all worked out, but I needed to share their great packing skills
