Hi! I was hacked today and I'm freaking out!
My main account was banned today for suspicious activity/vote manipulation. It was only a short three-day ban, but I'm freaking out because when I looked at it, it had added SEVERAL new subs to my list (some of which are either highly problematic and others that are just completely irrelevant to me or my account), and I had a whole slew of new chats containing some really weird stuff.
I'm so worried what might happen to the account because I've used it for ages now. I've changed all my passwords and tried to remove as much as possible of the odd and uncomfortable subs and messages. I reached out to Reddit itself to see if something could be done, but I worry.
If I lost that account, I would lose SO MUCH stuff. I'm so upset and it hurts pretty badly knowing someone would do that to me.
Has anyone else suffered this, and how did it turn out? Does Reddit have any leniency with bans when an account has been hacked?
