I switched birth controls to one that’s better for acne, along with a bunch of my products that were breaking me out. I’ve seen improvements everywhere but my chin. I use tretinoin 0.25% every night and I’d been using it for years along with clindamycin and spironolactone, but I had a BIG flare up a few months ago (prompting the birth control switch). I recently found out that you’re not supposed to use clindamycin for too long because your body builds antibiotic resistance to it, which makes sense, I feel like it no longer works for me at all. I’ve heard azelaic acid can be used with tret safely but I’m so scared of damaging my barrier. How do I spot treat active breakouts? 😭
