Hello,

I suspect my son has a milk protein allergy and I can’t seem to get anyone to listen to me.

When he was an infant he had terrible reflux. He was breast fed only, I went dairy free and his reflux went away. When he was 1 year old we started the dairy ladder and it failed so we waited. Started again at 18 months and failed again. He got pretty sick and the doctor referred us to an allergist.

We met with the allergist today and he said he wouldn’t test because he has never had an anaphylactic episode.

Has anyone been in a similar scenario? Do we just stay dairy free? Should I try to see another doctor?
