At first, the idea was just to generate short links…
but while building it, I realized the real value isn’t the link itself.
It’s what you can do on top of it.
Right now the focus is much more on:
- analyzing link behavior
- understanding what happens after the click
- having control over how the link behaves
And also on the personalization side:
- adjusting behavior
- defining rules
- treating each link almost like its own thing
In the end, it stopped being just a shortener and turned into more of a link analysis + control tool.
Still early, but this analysis + customization part is what’s been the most interesting so far.
