Networking Career in India after CCNA?

Hey everyone,

I recently completed my CCNA training and plan to learn CCNP-level concepts next. I enjoyed networking much more than expected and now I’m considering it as a career.

Wanted to ask people working in networking in India:

* What’s the current job market like?

Fresher salary after CCNA?

Does CCNP help significantly?

Long-term growth and future scope?

Networking vs cybersecurity in terms of opportunities?

Best skills to learn alongside networking?

Would appreciate honest advice from people already in the field.

Guys, I really need some honest advice.

I just graduated a few days ago and I’m feeling completely stuck. I’ve completed training for both CCNA and CEH. The thing is, I genuinely enjoyed CCNA and networking concepts made sense to me. CEH, on the other hand, felt quite overwhelming at times.

Now I’m confused about what path to choose:

* Go into networking (which I enjoy and feel confident in), or

* Push through cybersecurity (which feels harder but seems to pay more)

From what I’ve seen, cybersecurity roles tend to have higher salaries, which is making this decision even harder. I don’t want to make the wrong choice early in my career.

Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Is it better to follow what I enjoy or go for the higher-paying field even if it feels overwhelming right now?

Any guidance, real experiences, or suggestions would really help. Thanks in advance
