Two of the oldest civilizations with ancient universities and a significant knowledge base spanning over 8000 years (India) and 5000 years (China), yet no magic school in either of the countries. How does that make sense?

Edit: A lot of you guys clearly not aware that there are 7 wizarding schools across the globe as per the lore. Look it up.

Plants and animals contain life, eggs do not. An unfertilised egg has nutrients but no life. It never had any life at any point of time. Plants on the other hand are very much alive. Shouldn't vegetarians advocate for eating eggs if they don't want people to eat anything that was alive at some point?

Edit: I wanted to convey about people who avoid animal products because they contain life. I thought vegetarian fit more than vegan.
