I have a strange occurrence. When I close the garage on the first try, it closes and then opens; on subsequent attempts, it will close.

This first, second, pattern appears to be consistent.

To complicate things, I'm not sure when this started, as I just purchased the home, and it might have started while I was trying to program the garage opener on the car. I don't know if I set a setting that makes the travel go further on the first attempt and normal on the second.

Any advice?
