Wanted to use the Bluetti to extend my Eaton UPS battery. Plan was to do wall outlet -> Bluetti -> Eaton 5S -> network rack. Reason for keeping the Eaton 5S inline is for faster switch over, AVR, and using USB communication for graceful shutdowns.

I found a few people mentioning they have exactly this setup, but I can't make it work. When the Bluetti runs on battery power, the Eaton 5S refuses to be charged by the Bluetti. The 5S display shows a Site Fault error and so it remains on the UPS battery rather than staying in pass through mode. As soon as I plug the Bluetti back into the wall outlet, the Eaton 5S is happy again.

>An "SF" (Site Fault) warning on an Eaton 5S UPS indicates an internal fault, typically triggered by a serious site wiring issue, such as a ground-to-neutral voltage difference exceeding 25V or a faulty ground connection.

I assume this is caused by the Bluetti's floating ground? Any advice on how to make it work?

Thanks

My local news didn’t record because the program name changed slightly from “NBC5 Today @ 5AM” to “NBC5 Today At 5AM.” YouTube TV should be able to handle minor variations like that...

This issue also comes up when evening news or political programs temporarily change their titles for special event coverage. If it’s airing in the same time slot on the same channel, it would make sense to record it automatically. With the technology available today, it seems like the system should be smart enough to recognize patterns like consistent time slots, channels, or even the same hosts, and treat these as the same program rather than missing the recording entirely.
