I reside in Canada and applied for a conference visa to Japan which was later discarded for not having proper bank statement details. Now since the appointment process is unavailable because it’s all full I’m thinking of doing the EVisa which is strictly tourism. At this point the money has been spent and I don’t mind if I go to the conference or not I can just do tourism but I’m not sure if it’s valid. I just really don’t want to waste the money.
Has anyone gone through this process?
What you guys suggest? And if I should still apply should I mention I did a conference one prior?
