I screwed up and I lost my storage because I forgot to make the payment.
No excuses this is all on me.
I lost my daughter in less than an hour from when she was born. Ten months later my wife of 15 years passed away too after fighting 3 dif types of Lupus, CHF, Kidney failure and a few others that tortured her little body.
Depression got me in a grip that it didn't want to let go. Literally lost it all... My handyman business, family, cars, house and myself. Homeless, drinking and just wishing I had the balls to end it. That was 8 almost nine years ago. Then 2025 came and I'm under 635 and Old Denton tunnel on thanksgiving alone. I was starving and freezing all day and night but at like 11:45 PM I heard a lady yelling outside my tunnel so I went out and she was in the passenger side of a Ford f150 (very similar to the one I had) a male driving her and she's yelling at me to come get a turkey plate and she gave me 3 Hawaiian rolls too. I said thank you to my angel and finally saw her face and she said take care of yourself and they drove off. She could have been my wife's sister she looked so much like her. I sat down and watched the truck leave in awww. Crying and eating that whole plate and the rolls I said I want them back but I knew I could only get one of them so I said no more. That was 5 months ago and now I have found assistance with CCA and those ladies took me in and we went to work. and Lorena ( my other angel)got me some funding and I found an apartment in Old Town Lewisville, TX today makes two months I've been here. I've been looking for work everywhere I could but at 53 years old its not easy finding a job and remember I lost all my stuff in that storage unit including all my tools. I had the whole Packout M18 series by Milwaukee and a lot of DeWalt tools my dad left me when he passed away in 2022. All gone and guess what happened today, I got a job!!!! So excited and when I accepted their offer they said that I needed my own tools, hard hat, steel toe shoes and safety vest and I can start on May 4th! My heart dropped but I accepted the offer. I'm here trying to figure out how I can get tools and a friend told me I should just ask on different social media sites. This is me asking if you have tools you can donate to me or even let me borrow till I get my first pay check I would be forever grateful. I need tools to fix houses and buildings for sheetrock and metal too, painting tools and all the basic screwdrivers, pliers, socket sets, wrenches, hammers, cutters impact guns, drills, saws, grinders, all-purpose, saw saw, tool boxes with wheels,If you can or not this means you read all this and that means a lot too.
