I have just accepted a nursing job at UVMMC in Burlington. The offer letter mentioned a pre-health screening. At this point, I will most likely still be positive for THC, as the screening would be in about a month. I am wondering whether I need to stop my cannabis usage now for the drug screening, or whether the offer will be rescinded if there is a positive in that section. I had heard that they do not mind a positive for THC, but I want to verify.

I would appreciate extra information from any nurses or folks who know nurses who have gone through the onboarding process in the past few years!
