Finally got my Slynd today and I was wondering when I'm supposed to switch to it and whether or not I'll be safe to have sex for the next 7 days of the new stuff, especially since I was taking placebo pills on the old pack for the last 7 days and I had sex on the 2nd to last day of that.. I sent a note to my doctor via the front office this morning asking about it, but she only sent back a non-reply message saying "You can switch straight to the new one If you haven't had any pauses in the old birth control". Like does a "pause" include being on placebo pills? I still have another 3 months supply of my old BC. Should I just continue taking that one for another 7 days to be sure? And then switch over and use condoms for that next week? It's hard for me to carefully plan stuff like this and I can't afford a proper appointment because I already spent so much on this new BC.
