Hey everyone , looking for some perspective.

I’ve had a 2020 Subaru WRX STI for about 5 years now. It’s been great, but honestly it’s mostly been a garage queen, only ~10k miles since new.

For a while I’ve been eyeing the Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06. Finally test drove one recently, and the engine sound and the acceleration completely sold me. It’s a totally different experience.

Now I’m seriously considering trading in the STI (fully paid off) for a used 2023 Z06 (3LZ, Z07 package) priced around $120k.

What’s holding me back:

• STI is discontinued and feels “special” in its own way
• I can’t realistically afford to keep both

For those who’ve made a jump like this (or regret not doing it), how did you think about it? Did you miss the old car, or was the upgrade worth it?

Appreciate any perspectives before I pull the trigger.
