How far into the armpit do they go?

Hey I'm a bigger guy getting surgery in a couple months and I'm super excited! that being said a new anxiety has popped up into my head. I have quite a bit of tissue extending into the armpit region and tbh I can't really tell where the boob ends and the fat begins. Armpit fat removal is not covered and I was wondering how likely is it that I'm going end up with a flat chest and then jarring microboobs under my arms for lack of a better description. Like from what I've seen online I trust my surgeon, and I'll be sure to ask him about this when we finally meet, but at the end of the day if something's not covered it's not covered.

So like how far back do they typically go? Should I be mentally preparing myself for having a weird torso? (I know I could just get the chest done to be the same size as the armpit fat, but I worry that would be closer to a reduction than top surgery.

Hey, I'm getting surgery with Dr Lee in Montreal a few months from now, and I'm trying to think of / plan things to keep me occupied while I recover. But I'm having a hard time gauging how much energy and capacity I'm actually going to have. For you guys were you like too uncomfortable and/or out of it to do much of anything the whole six weeks, or were you basically back to normal (without lifting anything over ten pounds or your arms above your head) by like week two? I know it's probably one of those things that varies from person to person, but I'd love to at least have an idea of what to expect.
