is it any different between robotic surgery vs laparoscopic my husband is going for surgery there Is a room ready in 2 weeks for robotic surgery but my husband is not do to his work and family issue he wants to have surgery in June and there isn’t any room available in June for robotic surgery only laparoscopic surgery and he is scheduled for laparoscopic surgery in June his surgeon said it’s the same there isn’t any difference side effects but when we do some research it says Laparoscopic surgery generally carries a higher risk of urinary (pee) and sexual dysfunction compared to robotic surgery for rectal cancer. anyone of you have this Surgery how was the healing process
