I know it's early to judge the actual animation now... but I really don't think it looks good or near finished. It's not even just the gru model that I think is a problem (although it's a bit of a factor) it's just the entire animation feels off in general.

It's giving off vibes of those shitty youtube kids animation...

The only thing I really like about it is the megamind model... but that's it.

It really does feel like this need more time to bake in the oven, and I kinda hope they delay the battle so they can fix the issue that it has.

I was really hyped for this death battle as I love both characters... this trailer didn't kill the hype I have for it, but now I'm worried if it will actually turn out good.
