I’m FRA in August but 16k in Overpayment

I’ll try and make this as short as possible.
I stupidly went to take early benefits at 62, then got a full-time job some months later. I turned in my form to stop the payments, they acknowledged it, but I kept getting checks.
I called them, they wrote letters, and after all the dust cleared I was $16,000 in overpayment.
After the waivers, and conference calls, where I said I was at fault and they said they were at fault as well for not acknowledging the initial letters I sent, and the forms I sent, here we are at $16,000.

Right now when I log into the Social Security website, it says my benefits are suspended due to the fact that I am still working.

In August, I will turn full retirement age and I plan on still working full-time for another couple three years.
The question being is that will they withhold 50% of my benefits starting in August? Can I ask for a reduced rate?
