I'm not sure if my cat's cycling normally?

We have a one and a half year old british shorthair, from 7 months she was on the cat contraceptive pill as we planned to have a litter with her once she was a bit older and she's a semi-outdoor cat.

She came off the pill mid-March and since them we haven't had what the textbooks indicate as a season. She done a bit more calling and been agressive for a period of 2-3 days at a time but then it goes, and for the last 6 weeks nadda. She's was seen by a vet who cleared her for breeding, but equally had no clue of the effects of the pill once they come off of it.

I'm confused, and more educated in horse cycling so have no idea what to expect.

Can the pill disrupts cats that much? Is it maybe because she a young cat? But equally from my understanding a cat season is 5 days + and is mainly visible through rolling, tail lifting and load calling (and attempted escapes for some)?

Any advice welcomed as I'm confused 😅
