Hi, I'm an accounting student in college. I currently don't have a job due to redundancy and will be looking for summer internships next year.

Is there anything good for me to do this summer to give me a better chance of getting internships over my classmates?

Unfortunately I've contacted a load of accounting firms and banks but they don't want someone of my level. Anything that'll give me a good shot?
