Is anyone here using Remote for Payroll? What is that experience like?
I have been looking for a job for a while now. I have been in Workday for about 5 years, owning an entire system for a smaller global company, a Security Lead for a large enterprise company with 11 tenants, and have also supported integrations - building from scratch and maintaining ones built before I arrived.
With that background, I have an upcoming interview at Remote for an Implantation Specialist, leading the Implementation to integrate Remote Payroll into clients Workday environment. Has anyone here been part of integration for Remote to run their payroll? I have built an integration with Deel <> Workday, so Remote should be similar, I'm guesing.
If I were to get out of the Workday world, and start going down the road of doing these implementations, what does that career trajectory look like? Do roles like this have any potential to lead into a career? I don't really know what the future looks like for this type of role. I know if I stay in a more Workday HRIS role, that path seems more stable.
Anything I should be weary of switching like this? Anything I should ask during the interview?
