I currently have had the copper IUD for a little over a year. However, the heavy bleeding and worse cramps never let up with time like I was told they would. I'm tired of bleeding anywhere from 10-20 days straight. I previously used Depo Provera but stopped due to its effects on my mood. I'm already diagnosed as Bipolar, but even medicated I was constantly spiraling internally and would start crying at random without being able to stop. Because of my experience with Paragard, I'm curious about IUDs using hormones but I cannot go through another experience like I had with Depo. I just want to hear how hormonal IUDs have affected other's moods.
