So I need some clarity. The community is constantly saying two conflicting things for correct setting with stock/OE coils. “2nd notch from bottom” and “1 inch is best”. But these go up from 0-2” in .5” increments so 3rd notch is actually 1”. Can anyone clarify what’s going on in these community discussions? Why do I ask, you might ask?

My bilsteins were set too high despite mechanic being told otherwise. He is going to adjust for free down to something more reasonable. I just want to get the best mix of performance improvement, height adjustment for aesthetics, while retaining a bit of rake for the few times per year I haul heavy loads. Looking for guidance.
