So is the official server/world the only way to play?

I only ask because this game has so much i think would make this a mmo could really enjoy, but the amount of shit capable because of mtx absolutly kills it for me. A completly mxt free version could potentially be my perfect mmo...

I know, it could probably be years before we see anything on kenshi 2, but is there anything you truely want to see compared to the first?

I want the faction and settlement system to be expanded. I want it to be a functioning system in game that I can take over and own every location if I so chose, with possible factional war.

And maybe legit slavery in game. Really punish the most frustrating of enemies

Looking for true sandbox games, be it rpg or mmo. It whatever else might be worth it?

I mean truely sandbox, the mmos and rpgs the really are the best of this sub genre. I've heard of ultima online, of runescape, but are these really the ones I should focus on?

What do you recommend?

Can someone explain what the heroes of might and magic games are to somebody who has never heard of them

I have only heard about the heroes of might and Magic games and/or the might and Magic franchuse, but I've never actually known what they are or what they focus around.

However if I try to look it up everything I find comeS from a Perspective of having played them before, or being very familiar with them, so it just expects you to Know certain things about it.

Can Somebody please explain to me what the games involve or what they can what kind of games they are to somebody who is completely new to the series or somebody who may be interested in the Siri's

We all know that dwarf fortress is a complex game, so I'm hunting for any setting changes that can make the game abit more digestible.

Like

Population cap.

In the game settings you can put a population cap that will limit how many dwarves can join your fort through migration. This setting also influences HOW MANY come in these migrations.

And

Strict Population cap.

Apparently dwarves naturally born within the colony can actually surpass the previously mentioned basic Population cap. This setting can limit how high the total population can grow when considering births.

(I may be misunderstanding these settings, so please correct me if I'm wrong!)

I also know there's a setting that can control the speed of time in game, but I dont think I understand that one enough to explain it.

These may seem obvious but I genuinely didn't know these existed after a hundred hours if playing !

Anyone know any more they find useful?
