Hi everyone,
I’m 39, second pregnancy, third baby, and we just found out we’re having our third boy 💙

This pregnancy has been really stressful so far. At 10 weeks I was diagnosed with a small subchorionic hematoma (about 20% the size of the gestational sac at the time). I’m now 15 weeks, and I’ve been spotting or bleeding pretty much since the beginning—mostly brown discharge or older blood, sometimes brighter red. It usually happens more when I’m standing or using the bathroom.

Yesterday things got really scary. I had three huge gushes of blood that soaked through a heavy pad instantly and passed three egg-sized clots. I went to the ER where they did bloodwork and an ultrasound. Baby was still there moving around, and they said they didn’t see fluid in my uterus.

But then last night around 3am I woke up with severe cramps and a large gush of fluid—pinkish, watery, not like blood or discharge. That continued for about 3 hours before I finally fell back asleep. The nearest hospital is 2 hours away, and since they had just told me everything looked okay earlier, I tried to wait it out (also the pain was intense and the roads are brutal)

Today I’m still bleeding—less than yesterday’s gushes, but still passing smaller clots. The cramping has been pretty bad too—definitely more than “mild,” honestly closer to contraction-level pain, just not rhythmic.

I’m really hoping this is just the hematoma draining, but I’m not getting clear answers from doctors other than “it could be.” It’s incredibly stressful. No other information or considerations from them.

Has anyone experienced anything like this with a subchorionic hematoma or otherwise? I haven’t been able to find many similar stories. I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who’s gone through something similar.

Wishing the best to all of you 💛

Southwest South Dakota. Hi everyone! I’m new here. Love what yall are doing! My husband and I have had a decent sized native plant garden for about 6-7 years now. We’re in South Dakota and grow wild bergamot, yarrow, narrow leafed coneflower, and prairie sage.

So we started clearing out the brush a bit for spring and noticed that our garden is COMPLETELY invaded with Siberian elm trees. Like a stupid amount of tree seedlings. It’s nothing like I’ve ever seen before there are 100s of 1000s of them. Is there any hope in saving out plants?! It’s a large space! Not sure the square footage. But definitely not small enough to weed by hand though that’s what we started doing. Anyone ever deal with this devil tree or have any suggestions?? I really don’t want to start all over and lose all these amazing plants that have brought so much life back to our area!! Pic for reference. Sorry I’m not great at Reddit! The stalks are from last seasons wild bergamot for reference. Every tiny seedling is a baby elm! Thanks for reading and happy gardening!!
