Is there any contacts that will come out that will be even more comfortable than dailies so people do not feel them at all? Like at all like if I would wear glasses or feeling that u wear nothing but actually nothing feeling?

Has anyone here experienced contact lens intolerance after previously wearing them successfully?

I have partly accommodative esotropia and use a plus prescription. I wore contact lenses for several years when I was younger without issues, but later developed intolerance and switched to glasses. Recently I tried returning to contacts (Air Optix in the past, now Biofinity monthly lenses), but I still feel discomfort even with a new pair.

Symptoms are mainly dryness, burning, and constant awareness of the lenses shortly after insertion.

A few specific questions:

- Is this kind of intolerance reversible, or once it develops does it usually persist?

- Does constant awareness of lenses point more to dryness or to lens fit/material?

- Do daily lenses significantly improve comfort compared to monthly lenses for sensitive eyes?

- Are there particular lens types or materials known to work better in these cases?

- Why are larger lenses (like scleral lenses) typically rigid — is there a technical reason soft versions aren’t common?

- Is it theoretically possible to design lenses that are not felt at all, or is some level of sensation unavoidable?

I’m not considering surgical options at the moment — mainly interested in experiences or explanations related to contact lens comfort.

Thanks.
