Among the clients with whom I feel like I am doing the best work and am most appreciated, I can think of maybe two or three women. The overall sample size is not large (still in double digits), but over time this trend has become too pronounced to ignore. My female clients don't stay and my male clients do, on average, which is why my caseload is at least half men (ages range from 25ish-60ish, I am a 50ish straight woman for reference). I did a search of this sub and it seems like most people who post about client sex preference or challenge have the opposite problem. I have some thoughts about why this might be but was curious if there are others who have had this experience. Anyone relate or have thoughts?
