Kids are grown and I finally have both the brainpower and the flexibility in finances to add an Ira to our family’s retirement savings. My husband has a pension and a tsp with his work that is pretty well maxed out, so this is just gravy and to have something in my name. We’re in our late 40s, and would like to retire as soon as he is able to with his government pension. Just curious what your thoughts are. I opened this just yesterday.
