Grandmother’s watch. Any idea what it is?

This was my Grandmother’s watch, engraved on the back with 1912. No identifying brand name on front or back. She lived in Melbourne, Australia. If anyone has any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Update: cannot access the movement, but was able to flip open the back which has some engravings. Photo of them shared in a reply post below.
