My 10th month old was previously a great sleeper (falling asleep independently sometimes, on the boob other times, but generally peaceful about naps and bedtime). When I’m with her, I do typically nurse her to sleep and it’s never seemed to be an issue.
She wakes at about 7:15am, does her first nap at 10am, second nap at 2pm, and bedtime at 7:15pm ish. She usually wakes up once at night (somewhere between 3-5am ish) and I nurse her back to sleep.
For the past week or so, her sleep has been chaos.
I think the issue was a mix of teething, separation anxiety, and not being able to lay back down from a sitting position (which she springs up and insists on being in the second her tush hits the crib).
She is fighting all sleep, crying for hours at a time (with or without Tylenol / Motrin on board), being awake for hours and hours in the middle of the night. I actually feel that I’m on the verge of a nervous breakdown due to severe sleep deprivation and exhaustion.
Today, I essentially let her cry it out because check-ins make her angrier.
She has finally started falling asleep on her own (after 5-10 mins of grumping) literally in a folded-in-half, face-down position.
I have attached pics for reference.
Is this okay ?
What can I do here 😓😓😓
