What shoes to get for a 2 weeks hike on the polish baltic coast?

This summer I will go on a 2 weeks hike that spans about 200km on the polish baltic coast and my gf, who's much more experienced than me with hiking, is begging me to get another pair of shoes. I currently have a pair of Lowa Renegade GTX mid, have always been very comfortable so I was planning to use those, but she's saying goretex will trap heat and will dry slow, therefore it's not suitable for such a hike, she's trying to convince me to get a pair of trail running shoes, that are also lighter.

I'm not fully convinced, we will have heavy backpacks, and I think trail shoes would not be as comfortable (and durable) as proper hiking shoes, also considering it would be a new pair that I did not try hiking with like the renegade I already have.

There will be a lot of walking in sand and I believe the goretex suggestion is valid, therefore these would be my picks, I'm open to hear other opinions:

  • RENEGADE EVO LL LO - Still has a lot of leather, therefore probably too hot?
  • INNOVO LO - This would be my top pick, although heavier compared to trail ones
  • AMPLUX 2 - Trail running option, if I had to choose one
  • SKYTERRA - Other trail running option, although I'm not a fan of the big heel ones

Yesterday I did couple of ranked and some left me wondering how I could have managed it better, cause it feels like there are some enemies support I cannot do anything against (low gold elo).

A matchup was Leona - Vayne against me and Nami, earlier levels were fine, I could bully them with the higher range and Leona reliance on all-ins, but after the first recalls, I started naturally just sitting outside of Leona's E range, resulting in getting my lane progressively pushed and getting zoned harder, after level 6 it was over cause there was no way for me to survive Vayne R through a full leona's combo. Also most likely I don't really know how to play with Nami against all-in supports that I can't protect from behind minions.

Poke supports lanes are also quite demoralizing, especially if I don't have an engage support. I really don't understand the win condition in those situations, I think I was playing with swain against xerath - vayne, and I came out of laning phase completely exhausted by the constant skillshot dodging, same goes for another lane where I was playing with xerath against smolder - zyra.
