Prehistoric Horror

Alright so I'm back with another question. Last time it was Giants this time it's a different type of Titan. I was wondering if besides the obvious ones, (i.e. Jurassic Park and The Meg 1 and 2, and Creature From the Black Lagoon.) Are there any other prehistoric horror movies. Also not The Relic as I've got that one on my list just haven't watched it.

Good Boy (2025)

This was such a good movie. I loved every second of it. As a proud dog lover this was the perfect movie for me. Scary but not overly loud or gory. Just a good time overall. 10/10.

This movie was a fun one. I enjoy a good action horror. I think that as far as vampire films go it's a good start. Giving everyone new to the sub-genre a basic step by step on how to beat them while not forgetting they used to be humans too and have a society all there own. It is also a good corrupt elite story that shows even in a society run by vampires there is still a chain of command based on power and wealth. 8.5/10.

Just a food for thought as I'm watching Disney's Hercules again but is it just me or does it feel very Superman-coded. Like if that's the point I'm sorry for repeating a point that's probably been made but was just curious if this was one inspiration for their version of the Greek Myth as that opening feels very Superman/Clark Kent trying to fit in.

Random question I had but are there any movies out there about giants? And I don't mean like Godzilla or Cloverfield. I mean more like a Jack And The Beanstalk style giant. I'm just curious as they've always been one of my favorite fantasy creatures but I don't think I've seen any movies with them in a horror sense despite the idea having merit.

Saw this one sometime last year on Tubi and only just got around to finishing it and for what it is. Not bad, certainly could be worse that's for sure. I won't say it's high art, but as far as B-movies go it's decent enough. I'll give it a solid 6.5/7 out of 10. I really had fun with this one despite the stupid gimmick.

Finally I get around to this film and while not high art from Mister Burton. I do enjoy it as everyone says, it is a good film, a great film even. Johnny Depp once again proves himself playing another eccentric character but unlike Wonka where I feel he goes a bit too far into the realm of an isolated man. This one feels a bit more realistic and grounded and therefore the better character. I give this film a solid 8/10.

A movie that much like The Substance goes over the horrors of aging in the celebrity world and the desperate measures one goes through to hide it. While I won't say this is a one to one with that movie but I feel like if one was to do a double feature it's a good companion piece. 8/10.

Great pseudo-period piece and an all time classic film. The way it tricks you into believing one thing only to pull the rug out at the end when the twist hits, while not as strong as say the sixth sense, it is still up there. Solid 10 for this one, no doubt in my mind.

Aww man this one made my skin crawl but it was enjoyable to a small degree. I can't say I disliked it despite how uncomfortable it made me. I just think that much like a few others I've seen it is a one and done. A film you watch and then once you do you never turn back. 6/10.

My second of a huge collection of King books I'm reading. This was such a good contrast from my first book TGWLTG. It is so bleak and so dystopian and by the end of it you're as tired as the Walkers themself. I could feel my body tense up the deeper I got into this book at first it's just that little bit of shock where you realize how big the stakes truly are, but by the end you're numb to the actually deaths and the sensation is just this slow burn of who could possibly be next. This was absolutely agonizing to get through yet I love it for that. 10/10.
