Guilt after quitting games.

A couple of months ago, I quit Hades because I kept dying at the last boss and I started to find the loop quite repetitive. So I quit the game with a sense of guilt. Then, I started half life-1, mainly because of the praises I've heard about half life-2 ( i wanted to play hl-1 before hl-2, to "fully" experience hl-2). But I didn't like the graphics, mechanics or as a matter of fact anything at all so I waited and got black mesa in sale which was supposed to be a modern remake of the game. then recently I decided to give black mesa a shot after finishing celeste and I am about 1/3rd into the game but now whenever I open the game, I feel like vomiting due to motion sickness. I don't have this problem with other games. Also I think I can probably fix this issue by increasing the FOV and disabling motion sickness, but still I just wanted to quit that game and I don't even wanna try half life 2 mainly because I don't want to push through old janky mechanics.
Do you also feel guilt while quitting video games and how do you deal with it? Is it even a good decision to drop black mesa or should I just push through it and then push through the roughly 30 hours of gameplay of hl2 (including both the episodes) because hl2 is supposedly a masterpiece. I have a lot of other games in my backlog such as rdr2, ghost of tsushima, tlou1, bloodborne but I have put them on hold because I wanted to eat the frog first.
