The portrait is 64x64 and should represent Q in his French Marshals uniform. I am working from an example photo.

I do think there is progress but it never feels quite right. Am I overthinking this? Can I not reach what I want with pixel art on this scale? I have been given the feedback that there is not enough clear shading. It could be that the studio lighting keeps this out of the example I'm using so they may have a point.

I started with the first image showing the enterprise from its starboard side and was pleased with the result. I then attempted to create the turning sequence based on the proportions of the mayor elements (saucer section, nacelles and the deflector.) I don't think the whole thing is that bad but I would appreciate some feedback and tips.
