Patella dislocation trauma

Well, this is going to be a rant. I’ve dislocated both of my kneecaps. My most recent one being in January. I am very traumatic with this incident. This has been my worst one I twisted my left leg the wrong way, and I fell. I ended up with a fracture on my patella and a fracture on my femur. This dislocation did not pop back into place, and now I am left with a limp and a leg that can’t fully extend. I can’t flex my muscles around that knee either. I’ve been dislocating it for years. We’re just a simple move can dislocated and I’m scared. It will happen again. My doctor does not take me seriously. And I’m debating whether or not to go to a orthopedic out of town. I’ve also been considering therapy for my mental health that has came along with this injury. Nobody seems to take me seriously not even my family or friends, and it feels like my leg will never go back to normal and that scares me so much. If anyone knows any good orthopedic doctors in Lubbock Texas, Albuquerque, New Mexico or places around that’s area Please let me know. !!!

It happened January 28th this year when my town had snow and I slipped and fell. I dislocated my kneecap and had to be transported to the hospital so they can pop it back in place. When I went to the orthopedics I had a small fracture on my femur and my patella. Skip to March when they say my knee will be normal again soon but it’s now May and I’ve been doing physical therapy. I still can’t fully extend my knee while walking so I use a cane for my limp. I can’t stand for more then 30 minutes and I’m in pain most days. I also can’t flex my muscles like on my right knee. I’m so scared it will dislocated again and my doctor doesn’t seem to care. It’s so mentally draining that I cry about it every day ( ik I am a crybaby) I just don’t know what to do anymore, should I go to a new doctor ? Or should I stick with physical therapy and once that is over go to a new doctor? Let me know if you guys want to see a video of my knee !
