My girlfriend and I had a fight 5 days ago because I called her a “bitch.” I deleted the message immediately, and I knew she wasn’t online at that time, but she still saw it before I deleted it.
After that, she disrespected me much more than I disrespected her by saying that word. I apologized for what I said, but then she told me she wanted to break up.
Even after being insulted that much, I calmly messaged her asking if we could talk and clear things out, but she hasn’t replied for the past 5 days.
I know I’m not the kind of person who uses abusive language, not even with my male friends, so calling my own girlfriend that word was so wrong and it hurt her a lot. But at the same time, the way she disrespected me felt disproportionate.
Today, one of her friends messaged me asking if I’m happy without her, but I didn’t engage in that conversation.
Now I’m confused about what to do — should I message her again, or accept that it’s over?
Also, she generally has a strong dislike for men, and she has blocked me on all platforms except one.
