Imaging Program Advice
Hello everyone!
I’m currently finishing my prerequisites and preparing to apply to imaging programs. My original goal was Echo, but now I’m torn between Echo, General DMS, and RadTech(specializing in MRI).
I keep hearing about the potential strain injuries in sonography, though many people say creating the images and helping patients is very rewarding. MRI also seems really interesting to me, and I’m wondering if it may be a better long-term option physically.
For those working in these fields, what are the biggest pros and cons you’ve experienced? How do you feel about the physical demands and long-term career longevity? If you could choose again, would you still pick the same path?
I’d really appreciate any honest advice or personal experiences. Thank you!
