I was prescribed lexapro recently. I do not have anxiety until night time when I am alone with my thoughts. sometimes it wakes me from my sleep. I can usually deal with the panic attacks but I’m going on a cruise away from my kids whilst my kids are going out of the country. in my head, either my husband and I won’t make it back, or the kids won’t. and so I turned to medication because the thoughts are terrorizing me. will this medication help me with this? I’ve had death anxiety since a child. ive never known a life without death over my shoulder and I’m hoping this can help me.
