You have to highly conscious to realize why healthcare sucks in this city!
Everytime I interac with hospital doctors, I feel like I am sitting in a small court room, where the defendant is trying to be very careful with their words.
Not a single conversation goes towards getting real opinion from doctors, only time I have seen someone give clear health advice are from YouTube, youtubers who are doctors by profession are very direct.
But Canadian doctors are always very scared of getting sued. They are always very reserved.
They dont give direct opinion, they wait for you to ask questions, assuming that you are very good at articulating questions and highly introspective person who knows what to ask, you get a vague over the top response, which protects the doctor and the hospital.
I get more direct advice from GPT than doctors mouth. I dont want to blame the doctors they are just a dude trying to keep their job.
But their responses are highly diplomatic, they are too afraid to be wrong! Or get sued.
At some point we need to stop and think what is going on! When i am going real opinion?
The protective mindset of doctors in this City needs to go, their assessment needs to be more towards helping the patient, not protecting the hospital or their job.
