So I understand why akito and the gang did it at the last ova and decided to live with the gibsi people ( stupid but am not questioning it), why the britanian troops did that though? I know anime and what not but that came out of nowhere, yeah original code Geass has a similar ending but the difference is I like the original and I know the character, I have no idea what are the names of those britanians.

Actually the whole akito show felt weird and random, with tone of characters that could have an NPC design and nothing would have changed, actually erasing them won't change much, I don't know why bother with design if you are not gonna tell us anything.
